WHAT’S HAPPENING IN HALDIMAND COUNTY THIS WEEKEND

Caledonia

Ye Olde Squire throws a Halloween party on Oct 25 at 8 PM. Costumes, music, and a wicked good time.

Hammer Hogs has karaoke tonight, live music Saturday, and brainy trivia Monday. Warm up the vocals, save your voice, then prove you actually pay attention.

Pizza dinner Friday 5 to 7, Cam Silver 6 to 9, and free pool all day at the Caledonia Legion. Eat, listen, rack them up. Saturday, they have a BBQ from 6:30 to 8:30, and Brett Baker live from 9 to midnight. Good food, good tunes, easy night out.

Katie Quinn and Brandon Abbott host a stag and doe at the fairgrounds on Saturday at 7. Games, prizes, and plenty of dance floor.

Grace Book Club meets at Caledonia Library on Monday, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. This month: Tell Me Everything by Elizabeth Strout. Friendly chat, fresh takes, new pages.

Henning Haunt hits Henning Park in Caledonia on Oct 25, 8 AM to 8 PM. Three-pitch Halloween costume ball tournament with food, costumes, and proceeds supporting Caledonia Bears youth baseball.

A production crew will be filming in Caledonia on Saturday morning near the bridge and Kinsmen Park.

The Village support group for parents and caregivers meets on Monday, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the Caledonia Library. Perinatal and postpartum support, honest talk, gentle encouragement.

Cypress 55+ has a Walking Group, Line Dancing, and a Women’s Social today. Stretch, step, and chat with friendly faces. Monday, try the Euchre Club, 1 to 3 PM.

Oct 25, 7 to 9 PM, join a lantern-lit walking tour of historic Caledonia. Hear local ghost stories and folklore. Fundraiser for the Caledonia Agricultural Society. Tickets online only.

Purple Haven Lavender Farm hosts a Garden Tea Party and decoupage workshop on Sunday, Oct 26. Sip tea, craft something beautiful, and soak up the lavender calm.

Canfield Community Centre hosts the Fall Craft Sale Oct 25, 10 to 2. Browse 24 artisans and vendors, raffles, baking, specialty coffees, and lunch. Shop local and support the hall.

Community Living Haldimand hosts a Halloween Dance Sat Oct 25, 8 PM to 1 AM at Canfield Hall Community Centre. 19+ event with music, costumes, and a packed dance floor.

Cayuga

Ruthven Park Trick or Treat Sunday, Oct 26, 4 to 7 PM. Crafts in the Coach House, lantern path to Mansion treats, plus cemetery tours 1 to 5. Costumes welcome.
