ACROSS HALDIMAND COUNTY

Smile Cookie Week is back across Haldimand County. All this week, grab a cookie at Tim Hortons, treat yourself, and help raise funds for local community groups.

Caledonia

Haldimand Biz Hive meets on Wednesday at 9 AM at Revival Coffee Shop in Caledonia. Free, drop-in, talk shop, share ideas, sip something good, and connect with other local owners.

Cypress 55+ has a full week of bingo, yoga, tai chi, workshops, and memory groups. Check the schedule, pick your favourites, and stay connected and active.

Check out a ladies’ crafting afternoon on Wednesday from 2 to 4 at the Caledonia Legion. Bring any craft project you are working on, grab a drink, and make a few new friends while you stitch, glue, or paint.

Head to the Caledonia Fairgrounds on Friday for Mystery Gift Bingo. Doors open at 5:30, bingo starts at 7, and the prizes are a surprise until you win them.

The Caledonia Legion has darts on Thursday night at 7 PM. Drop in, grab a drink, and see if your aim is as good as you think it is.

Knit or crochet for a cause on Thursday from 10 to noon at St. Paul’s parish hall. Beginners are welcome, yarn is available, and the shawls and blankets stay right in the community.

The Caledonia Farmers’ Market runs on Thursday from 2 to 6 PM with fresh produce, baked goods, and local vendors. Stock up for the week and say hi to your favourite farmers.

Silent Book Club meets on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Caledonia Library. Read your own book, skip the small talk if you want, and just relax with fellow book lovers.

Christmas Ball Hockey

Grab your sticks and your holiday spirit. Christmas Ball Hockey is hitting Cayuga Light Up Night on Friday, Dec 5, from 5:45 to 8:30 pm on Cayuga Street North. Darts fly on Wednesday at 7:30 PM at the Cayuga Legion, so warm up your throwing arm and see who can hit the board on purpose.
