Caledonia

The Caledonia Fair opens Thursday at 4 with live music, midway rides, SuperDogs, a car cruise and more fun than you can shake a candy apple at.

Make a wooden candy apple at the Caledonia Library today at 1 p.m. Just $2 for a crafty treat that will last longer than the real thing.

The Caledonia Farmers’ Market is Thursday from 2 to 7 with fresh produce, local vendors, and the perfect excuse to ditch the grocery store.

Euchre is on at the Caledonia Legion Thursday at 2 p.m. and again at 7. Cards, laughs, and no membership required.

The Caledonia Legion serves up a BBQ Friday from 5 to 7, with live music by Stevie James from 6 to 9 and free pool all day.

Cypress 55+ has cardio fit, yoga, bingo and a memory group today. Wednesday brings tai chi and crafting, while Thursday features dance fit, yoga, book club and tech savvy.

The Caledonia BIA is looking for volunteers to help with their Christmas in Caledonia event. A chance to give back and spread holiday cheer.

Help support Winegard Ford’s food drive efforts by dropping off your non-perishable food items before Sept 25th.

Caledonia Legion hosts a blind draw doubles 8-ball tournament Wednesday at 2 p.m and their new dart league is Thursday at 7. Sharp aim, friendly rivals, and bragging rights for the taking.

Ye Olde Squire has live music Wednesday from 7 to 9:30. Good tunes, good pints, and no cover charge needed.

Cayuga

Haldimand Museums hosts Fall Trivia Night at the Cayuga Legion on Sept 25. Dinner at 5:30, trivia after. Register a 4-person team for a shot at the Wisdom Trophy.

Lakeshore Road is closed just east of Haldimand-Dunnville Townline Road for a culvert replacement. The closure will remain in place until October 31.

Thanks to incredible community support, Heaslip Ford’s food drive crushed its 200-lb goal in the first week, collecting 316.6 lbs. The new target is 500 lbs, and donations are being accepted until the 25th. Drop off non-perishables and help deliver a vanload of food to the Hagersville food bank.

Karaoke takes over Main 88 tonight. Whether you’re belting it out or cheering from the sidelines, it’s your kind of Tuesday.
