ACROSS HALDIMAND COUNTY

Caledonia

The Corvairs are at home Saturday night against Brantford. Puck drops at 7:30, the energy will be loud, and your cheering counts as community service.

Live music hits Hammer Hogs on Saturday night. Grab a seat, grab a drink, and let someone else provide the soundtrack for once.

Country Dance Night lands Friday, Jan 23 from 7:30-11 PM at the Caledonia Community Centre. Live country music, line dancing, and a dance floor that forgives beginners.

The Living Hope Cafe runs Saturday, Jan 24, from 9 AM to noon at the Caledonia Community Cafe. Free coffee, treats, easy conversation, and a relaxed hangout with neighbours.

Haldimand 4-H Awards Night is Saturday at the Caledonia Fairgrounds. Celebrate members and volunteers who put in the work and keep the program strong.

Trivia Night at Hammer Hogs is on Monday from 7:30-9:30 PM. Team up or fly solo, grab dinner, and prepare to know exactly one answer with confidence.

The Caledonia Arena has adult shinny and beginner skate this morning, then public skating on Saturday. Monday brings teen shinny and beginner skate, so the fun keeps rolling.

Cypress 55+ is busy today with line dancing, tabata, and a women’s social. Monday brings a Pound full-body workout, then the euchre club. Sweat first, shuffle cards after.

Karaoke takes over Hammer Hogs on Friday at 9 PM. Pick your song, grab the mic, and commit. The crowd is friendly, and the fun is guaranteed.

The Burns Night Supper lands Saturday, Jan 24 from 6-9 PM at Ruthven Park in Cayuga. Expect a Scottish dinner, live fiddle music, and the famous Address to a Haggis, tradition included.

John Atlee plays Little Dings Saturday night at 7:30. Great tunes, good company, and a solid excuse to stay out.

Cayuga Arena has beginner skating on Saturday, public skating on Sunday, and teen shinny on Monday. Lace up and pick your favourite kind of ice time.

The Dunnville Arena has public skating on Sunday. Monday brings adult skating, children’s stick & puck, and teen shinny. Lots of ice time, lots of chances to pretend you’re graceful.

The Dunnville Aeros are home Saturday night at 8 against the Petrolia Squires. If you’re a first responder, get in free with your badge!

Family Volleyball hits Dunnville Secondary School Friday, Jan 23 from 7-8:30 PM for Grades 6+ and their grownups. No tryouts, no pressure, just indoor funs, bumps, and teamwork.

The Whiskey Chasers play Mudcat Bowling and Entertainment Saturday, Jan 24 from 9 PM to 1 AM. Rock and blues classics, and the kind of night that keeps feet moving.

The Wainfleet Frostbite Tournament brings martial arts to Dunnville Secondary School. Friday has a 6:30 PM clinic, and Saturday starts at 10 AM. Come watch winter get roundhouse-kicked.

Karaoke hits the Mudcat Sunday at 3. Perfect timing for brave vocals, big laughs, and a crowd that cheers like everyone nailed it.

The Mah Jongg group meets today at the Dunnville Library from 1-3. All levels welcome, whether you’re learning or quietly dominating the table.

The Dunnville Legion has karaoke tonight from 6-10, then bingo Saturday from 1-3. Sing first, win later, and call it a balanced weekend.

Fisherville / Nanticoke/ Selkirk / South Cayuga

Seniors’ Hoss Party is on Monday at 1:30 PM at Selkirk Community Centre. Cards, laughs, and the kind of friendly competition that gets serious fast.

The Fisherville Lions Club outdoor rink didn’t open as planned thanks to slightly warmer weather. Keep off until the closed signs come down, then it’s game on.

The Robbie Burns Dinner and Dance hits Selkirk Centennial Community Centre Saturday, Jan 24 from 6 PM to 1 AM. Haggis, roast beef, bagpipes, dancing, local performers, and a full night of celebration.

Selkirk Book Club meets on Monday at 1 PM at the library. Come for the book chat, stay because it’s a great excuse to get out and talk about something fun.

Swan Lake lands Monday night at 7 at FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre in St. Catharines. Big music, stunning movement, and a night that feels properly fancy without trying too hard.
