Good Morning Haldimand County!

Here's What's Happening in Haldimand County This Weekend

One of the best things about August is that you never have to wonder what to do this weekend. Across Haldimand County, there's something happening in almost every community, whether you're into classic cars, live music, drag racing, antique tractors, craft sales, farmers' markets, or simply finding a patio where someone else is doing the singing.

This weekend's calendar is packed. Cayuga welcomes thousands of visitors for the Grand River Antique Society's Farm Show, while aircraft enthusiasts can get up close to visiting planes at the HFAM Fly-In. Caledonia is bringing together car lovers, dog lovers, and anyone brave enough to grab a microphone at open mic night. Dunnville keeps the momentum going with live music, a forest school open house, a huge Catch the Ace jackpot, and a truckload of free groceries. Meanwhile, communities across the county are hosting trivia nights, yard sales, farm tours, paint nights, baseball, soccer, and enough live music to make you wonder if anyone's actually staying home.

A quick reminder: if you're heading to an outdoor event, toss a lawn chair in the trunk. It might be the most useful thing you pack all weekend.

As always, if we missed something, let us know. Haldimand County doesn't exactly believe in taking weekends off, and we're always happy to help spread the word about the people and organizations making our communities a little more fun. Enjoy the weekend, support local when you can, and if someone convinces you to sing karaoke, we promise not to publish the video.

What’s Buzzing in Our Backyard This Weekend
