Good Morning, Haldimand County!
Here's What's Happening in Haldimand County This Week
The Victoria Day long weekend may be over, but around Haldimand County, things aren’t exactly slowing down. If anything, this is the point where everyone collectively realizes summer is peeking around the corner, and suddenly the community calendar starts filling up fast.
This week’s edition is packed with local happenings, community gatherings, live entertainment, fundraisers, markets, social clubs and enough activities to keep your evenings and weekends busy well into June. Whether you’re looking to reconnect with people, get out of the house, support local organizations or simply find something different to do, there’s no shortage of options across the county.
There’s also something about the week after a long weekend that feels oddly productive. Gardens get planted, patio furniture appears from storage, and people start making ambitious summer plans they’ll either fully commit to or abandon by mid-July when it gets too humid.
As always, we’re continuing to highlight the people, organizations, businesses and events that help keep Haldimand County connected. Every week, we’re reminded just how much is happening across our communities, often without many people even realizing it.
Have you checked out GrandErie Home Hardware’s article “How to Choose the Right Fertilizer” on our website yet? Your lawn may still be recoverable.
And don’t forget to tune into 92.9 The Grand FM Thursday morning at 7:05 and 8:40 when we share a sneak peek at this weekend’s events happening around Haldimand County.
