Here's What's Happening in Haldimand County This Weekend
After the whirlwind of Canada Day celebrations, this weekend settles into a different rhythm, but there's still plenty happening across Haldimand County if you're looking for an excuse to get out of the house.
Car lovers are spoiled for choice with the Fisherville Show & Shine on Saturday and the Haldimand Ford & Mercury Truck Show on Sunday, while adrenaline junkies can head to Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga for Motorsport Mayhem, featuring freestyle motocross, Harley stunt riders, drag racing, live music, and more.
If a slower pace sounds more appealing, Purple Haven Lavender Farm has another full weekend of unique experiences, from hands-on beekeeping and honey harvesting to crafting a fresh lavender wreath or enjoying a sunset paint night surrounded by blooming fields. You can also hunt for bargains at the Peacock Point Yard Sale, browse antique vendors at this month's Yellow Farmhouse Pop-Up Market, or catch live music at venues throughout the county.
There are plenty of community events too, including Bradley and Kathryn's Stag & Doe in Dunnville, card bingo at the Legion, and an open house celebrating Haldimand Norfolk Community Senior Support Services' new Cayuga location on Monday.

Haldimand Norfolk Community Senior Support Services has been in our new home in Cayuga for a few months; and now that we are all settled in, we will be hosting an Open House and Ribbon Cutting at our office at 6 Munsee Street South on Monday, July 13th at 3pm.
