Good Morning, Haldimand County

Here's What's Happening in Haldimand County This Weekend

Well, this week came with a bit of a plot twist… and a trophy.

On Wednesday night, the Haldimand County Pulse was named Best New Business at the Caledonia Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards. Still not entirely sure how we managed to look composed walking up there, but here we are.

The bigger takeaway from the night, though? This community is stacked with incredible businesses. The list of nominees alone could keep you busy shopping, eating, and supporting local for the next year straight. Every category was loaded, and the winners absolutely earned it. If anything, the night was a reminder that we’re all part of something pretty strong here.

To everyone who reads, shares, advertises, replies, sends in events, or casually mentions “I saw that in the Pulse”… this is yours too. The only reason this thing works is because people actually care about what’s happening around them and want to support it. That’s not something every place can say.

We’re not slowing down. If anything, this just raises the bar a bit. More events, more local coverage, more reasons to keep things close to home.

Now, speaking of that… this weekend is packed.
