Good Morning, Haldimand County!

Here's What's Happening in Haldimand County This Week

If your phone screams at you on Wednesday at 12:55 PM, congratulations, you’ve just survived the province’s emergency alert test. It’s only a test, but it still hits like your phone just discovered drama. Maybe don’t be holding hot coffee when it happens unless you enjoy living dangerously.

Once your heart rate returns to normal, there’s a lot going on this week across Haldimand County. Markets are reopening, patios are filling up, and the calendar is starting to look like you actually have a social life again. Whether you’re into trivia nights, live music, workshops, or just casually dominating a game of euchre, there’s something waiting to pull you out of the house.

We’re also getting into that sweet spot where weekdays are no longer boring placeholders between weekends. Tuesday has plans. Wednesday has plans. Even Thursday is making a strong case for itself. It’s a slippery slope from “I’ll just go out for an hour” to “why am I home this late on a Wednesday?” but honestly, worth it.

And if you like having your weekend plans lined up before everyone else starts scrambling, tune into 92.9 The Grand FM on Thursday morning at 7:05 and 8:40. We’ll be on air with a quick rundown so you can look organized without actually trying.

Now let’s see what’s happening
