WHAT’S HAPPENING IN HALDIMAND COUNTY THIS WEEKEND

Caledonia

Saturday night is Make it Matter’s 2nd annual Monte Carlo Charity Fun Night at the Lion’s Hall from 6-11:30. This glamorous evening of games, dining, and giving will benefit Inclusions Developmental Services. Enjoy a buffet dinner, prize tickets, and $50 in casino-style chips; all in support of a great cause.

Mark Leslie, author of Haunted Hamilton, visits the Caledonia Library on Saturday at 1:30. Hear spooky local tales, join the Q&A, and borrow the book if you dare.

Caledonia Legion fires up the grill tonight, 5 to 7, then turns it up with live music featuring Cathy Kotyk after. Burgers, cold drinks, and easy company. Everyone welcome.

Saturday, 7 to 9 pm, lantern-lit ghost tour of historic Caledonia. Family-friendly and supports the Caledonia Agricultural Society. Tickets online only. Questions? Call 905 765 6861.

Hammer Hogs is party HQ this weekend with karaoke tonight, live tunes Saturday, and brain-busting trivia Monday. Show up for laughs, stay for wings, leave with bragging rights.

St. Paul’s Prayer Shawl group meets on Thursday from 10 to noon in the parish hall. Knit or crochet shawls, lap and baby blankets for neighbours. Newcomers welcome, lessons included.
