The Haldimand Horticultural Society meets on Thursday at 7 at St. Paul’s Anglican Church. Rob and Christine Croley from Sentimental Homestead Farms will talk plants and probably make your garden feel lazy.

The Caledonia Legion is serving BBQ on Friday from 5 to 7. Cam Silver kicks in with live tunes from 6 to 9, and the pool tables are free, so you can lose with style.

The Caledonia Farmers’ Market is open Thursday from 2 to 7. Fresh produce, local vendors, and the perfect excuse to ghost the grocery store for a week.

Hammer Hogs has karaoke on Friday night. Warm up your vocal cords, or just sit back and enjoy the brave souls butchering Bon Jovi.

Euchre is on at the Caledonia Legion this Thursday at 2 and again at 7. No membership required. Just show up, play cards, and act like you totally meant to call that trump.

The Caledonia Tim Hortons Camp Day crew is jumping ahead to 2026 with a trivia night this Friday from 7 to 10 at the north side Tims. Five bucks gets you in with a drink, free Timbits, and the satisfaction of flexing your random knowledge for a good cause.

Bike Night rolls into the Cayuga Legion tonight from 6 to 9 for its season finale. Ride in, walk in, or just come for the rumble and the beer.

Swing by Ruthven Park this week for their “Homesteading Drop‑In Program.” Wander the grounds, spot where farm animals once roamed, learn to make pickles from scratch, and try your hand at natural‑dye friendship bracelets. It’s history, hands‑on and low‑key.

The Dunnville Library’s summer book sale wraps up Saturday. Stock up now before someone else grabs the dog-eared mystery you secretly wanted.

Free brunch at the Dunnville Youth Impact Centre runs Tuesday from 10:30 to 12:30. It’s the last week, so show up hungry and act like you meant to pace yourself.

Heads up, drivers: Rainham Road will be down to one lane between Haldimand Road 20 and Haldimand Dunnville Townline Road from August 25 to 29, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Crews will be out paving and fixing shoulders, so plan for delays.

Haldimand-Norfolk Community Senior Support Services is hosting Exercises & Social on Thursday from 10 to 11:30, followed by Bingo from 1 to 3. Stretch a little, chat a little, and maybe yell “Bingo”.

Fisherville / Nanticoke/ Selkirk / South Cayuga
