WHAT’S HAPPENIN’

Everywhere

• If you’re in Ward 1 or Ward 4, it’s time to vote. Advance Internet Voting is available now through April 9. Advance In-Person Voting is happening until Saturday. If you miss either of these, you can vote in person on Election Day, April 10.

Caledonia

• Get ready for the biggest Seedy Saturday event in Ontario at the Fairgrounds this weekend. Jump into a world of seed sharing, amazing vendors, fascinating speakers, and all things native plants. Whether you're hunting for local artisan goodies or are eager to learn from community groups, there's something for everyone. Hosted by the awesome Haldimand Horticultural Society, all it takes is a food bank donation to snag entry for just $2. Don't miss out on this blooming great event.

• Hop on back to the Fairgrounds on Sunday for a fun-filled adventure at the Hopping Through the Forest Easter Vendor Event from 10 AM to 4 PM. Word on the street is that the Easter Bunny might just make a special appearance.

• Calling all music lovers and trivia buffs - Hammer Hogs is your weekend and Monday night destination. Jam out with live tunes this Saturday, and then get ready to flex those brain muscles with their awesome trivia night at 7:30 on Monday.

• Friday night’s forecast at the Argyle St Grill: cold drinks and cooler prizes—don’t miss your shot at winning their Zamboni cooler.

• Time to roll up and cash in those bottles. The McKinnon Park bottle drive is rolling through Zehrs again, and your next chance to drop off those recyclables is this Saturday, April 5th, from 1 to 4 PM.

• Calling all our fabulous 55+ friends. Start next week with a bang and experience some fun with the Cyprus 55+ Program. They've got euchre, cardio fit, yoga, bingo, and a whole lot more lined up just for you.

Cayuga

• ✨ Get ready to glow up because Calm Beauty and Wellness is bringing the sparkle this Saturday! One day only, treat yourself to custom spray tans and stunning Henna tattoos. It's the perfect excuse to switch up your style and try something fabulous. Spots are limited, so snag yours here and let the fun begin.

• Get your dabbers ready - this Saturday, the Cayuga Legion is turning up the fun with an afternoon of bingo madness at 3. Who's ready to shout 'BINGO' and win some awesome prizes? Bring your friends, bring your good luck charms, and let the games begin. The Cayuga Legion will also have progressive euchre on Tuesday at 7:30.

• Swing by J.L. Mitchener Public School on April 8 from 5-7 PM for a delicious pasta party. Your meal helps turn garden dreams into reality for their kitchen project. Bon appétit, and see you there.

• Cayuga Home Hardware is challenging everyone to fly their Canadian flags at home and work. They also want to hear why you love Cayuga and Canada so much. Post your videos and tag them to win Home Hardware gift cards and maybe even a pizza party.

• 🐰The Cayuga Easter Egg Hunt is hopping into action this Saturday. Grab your baskets, gather your crew, and let's crack some fun together. Who's egg-cited to find the eggs hidden around Cayuga businesses?

Dunnville

• Luke Allan is taking over the stage at New Amsterdam Pub TONIGHT! If you're looking for live music and good vibes, this is your spot. Who's in?

• The Dunnville Farmer’s Market is back on Saturday morning.

• On Saturday, keep your eye out for the Dunnville Air Cadets as they take part in their annual tagging event at retailers around town.

• Home Hardware’s Garden Centre opens its doors for the season on Monday. You’ll find me in line, pretending I know how to keep plants alive.

• This Monday at 7 PM, the Dunnville Craft Emporium is rolling out the ultimate artsy evening—a carrot porch leaner workshop.

• The Rotary Club of Dunnville’s Spring Bottle Drive is rolling into the Farmer’s Market Saturday from 9-12. Bring your empties and do some good.

• 🌸The Tav’s Spring Market has been rescheduled for April 13 due to the amount of rain expected this weekend.

Community Living Haldimand is throwing a big bash for their 65th Anniversary this Saturday night at the Fisherville District Lions Community Centre.
