Good Morning, Haldimand County!
Here's What's Happening in Haldimand County This Weekend
Sunshine, roadside markets, live music, car shows, wrestling, karaoke, garage sales, lavender plants, trivia nights, drag racing, and at least three separate opportunities to embarrass yourself publicly are all packed into this weekend across Haldimand and nearby communities. Honestly, your couch barely stands a chance.
From Dunnville to Caledonia, Cayuga to Jarvis, there’s something happening in almost every direction. You can spend Saturday morning shopping at a farmers market, your afternoon checking out classic cars or exotic supercars, and your evening singing Bon Jovi at karaoke with people you met 20 minutes earlier. That’s the kind of weekend we’re working with here.
There are also plenty of family-friendly events filling the calendar, including Spring Fest in Hagersville, the South Haldimand Station 11 car show, open houses, community fundraisers, and walks supporting important local causes. If your kids come home exhausted and slightly sticky from freezies, you probably did the weekend correctly.
Music fans have a stacked lineup too, with live performances happening at pubs, breweries, and restaurants throughout the county. Meanwhile, wrestling fans can head to Dunnville for a full day of Hybrid Championship Wrestling action, proving once again that folding chairs remain one of society’s most dangerous inventions.
As always, thank you for supporting local businesses, local organizations, and the people putting these events together. Have a great weekend, spend local when you can, and maybe stretch before karaoke.
