Now we’re in that weird in-between stretch. Not quite spring energy, not quite winter gone, but people are starting to reappear. You can feel it. More events are popping up, more reasons to leave the house, and fewer excuses to stay parked on the couch.

This week leans a little quieter than what’s coming, but that’s not a bad thing. It’s the calm before everything ramps up. Markets, outdoor events, and full calendars are right around the corner, so consider this your warm-up round.

There’s still plenty worth checking out, though. Trivia nights, live music, community staples, and a few good excuses to grab a drink or get out midweek without overcommitting your entire life.

The Caledonia Library book club meets on Wednesday at 2. This month’s pick is Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. Read it or fake it, no judgment either way.

Cribbage is on at the Caledonia Legion on Wednesday at 2. Cards, conversation, and at least one person taking it very seriously.

The Caledonia Legion keeps things going Thursday with euchre at 2 and again at 7, plus darts at 7. Pick your game or stay for all of it.

Cypress 55+ is packed this week. Today brings yoga, bingo, and Canvas & Mocktails. Wednesday features tai chi, a craft and knit group, and a sourdough for beginners class. Thursday rounds it out with dance fit, yoga, and Cooking 103.

The Caledonia Quilt Guild meets on Wednesday at 7 pm at Grace United Church. All are welcome.

Haldimand Biz Hive meets on Wednesday at 9 at Revival Coffee. Good coffee, smart people, and a solid way to start your day without staring at your inbox.

Thursday night is Sports Night at the Legion with darts, cornhole, and pool. Show up, pick a game, and see how competitive you actually are.

Dunnville Legion has euchre on Wednesday at 6:30. Cards, conversation, and the usual mix of skill and questionable luck.

Barracks by the Grand is hosting an adult glass-fusing workshop on Thursday from 7 to 9. Try something different and leave with something you didn’t buy at a store.

The Over 60 Euchre Club meets on Thursday from 1:30 to 3:30 at the Dunnville Optimist Club. A solid afternoon of cards and catching up.
