Good Morning, Haldimand County

Here's What's Happening in Haldimand County This Weekend

If you were hoping for a quiet weekend, this isn’t it. The calendar filled up fast and it didn’t mess around. From Friday night straight through Sunday, there’s something happening in just about every corner of the county, and a lot of it overlaps in the worst possible way… meaning you’ll actually have to choose.

Live music is everywhere this weekend, from bar stages to community halls, with enough variety that you can bounce between styles depending on your mood. If shopping local is more your speed, there are markets, craft shows, and vendor events ready to test your willpower and your wallet. Feeling competitive? Euchre, trivia, and tournaments are all in the mix. Prefer something a little slower? There are wellness events, community gatherings, and even a few chances to learn something new.

There’s also a strong showing of fundraisers and community-driven events this weekend, which means you can get out, have a good time, and support something worthwhile at the same time. Not a bad combo.

Bottom line, you won’t be bored unless you’re trying to be. Plan ahead, pace yourself, and maybe accept the fact that you’re not making it to everything. Or try anyway and deal with it on Monday.
