Good Morning, Haldimand County!
Here's What's Happening in Haldimand County This Week
It feels like everyone is finally coming back online after the long holiday pause. Alarm clocks are ringing again, calendars are filling up, and the lights are slowly turning back on across Haldimand County.
Local arenas, halls, cafés, and community spaces are shaking off the quiet and getting busy again, which means more reasons to leave the house that are not grocery-related. The break was nice, but routines are returning, and so is the energy.
If you’re easing back in or jumping straight into full speed, there’s plenty happening nearby to help reset the week. Let’s get back to it, one local event at a time.

WHAT’S HAPPENING IN HALDIMAND COUNTY THIS WEEK
ACROSS HALDIMAND COUNTY
Haldimand County is under a Flood Watch for the lower Grand River watershed, including Caledonia, Cayuga and Dunnville, as warm, wet conditions have raised water levels, and ice jams could cause the river to overflow its banks. Residents in flood-prone areas should monitor conditions closely, stay away from waterways, and keep kids and pets back from river edges while Emergency Services watches the situation.
Have you seen our restaurant review of The Carolinian, written by Jen Bubleit? It’s a great read and a solid excuse to plan your next Cayuga stop.
