Good Morning Haldimand County!
Here's What's Happening in Haldimand County This Weekend
Summer is in full swing, and this weekend is packed with reasons to get out and explore Haldimand County. Whether you're into classic cars, live music, local markets, family-friendly activities, or simply looking for something different to do, you'll find plenty happening from one end of the county to the other.
One of the weekend's most meaningful events is the arrival of the Two Row on the Grand paddlers in Port Maitland. After spending 10 days travelling the Grand River from Cambridge, participants will complete their annual journey celebrating friendship, reconciliation, and the relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. Residents are encouraged to come out and help welcome them as they reach the finish line.
Car enthusiasts are in for a great weekend, with XtremeSports Autofest taking over Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga, Caffeine & Gasoline returning to Caledonia, the Deboss Garage Cruise rolling into Dunnville, and the Rodmasters celebrating their 55th anniversary with another impressive car show.
If food is your love language, you'll have no trouble finding something to enjoy. Cheesecake & Taco Fest returns to Port Dover, the Fisherville Firefighters are serving up wings at their annual Wing Ding, and local farmers' markets are full of fresh produce, baking, meats, and handmade goods.
Looking for something a little more relaxing? Tour an off-grid farm, reconnect with yourself at the Drumming & Labyrinth Day Retreat in Lowbanks, browse a community garage sale, or settle onto a patio for one of the many live music performances happening across the county.
As always, if your organization is hosting a public event, we'd love to help spread the word. Submitting your event to Haldimand County Pulse is free, easy, and helps thousands of local readers discover what's happening in their own community.
Now, here's what's happening across Haldimand County this weekend.
